School enterprise cooperation in logistics and supply chain opens a new chapter

On September 28, 2022, the Logistics School of Beijing Wuzi University and SF Express (hereinafter referred to as "SF Express") held the first "SF Express Interest Class" and held a special recruitment activity. Many company leaders including Huang Chengliang, the head of SF Express Operation Department, Yang Shulin, the head of Large Business Department, Yang Chong, the head of International Business Department, Chen Jingdong, the head of General Affairs Department, Li Li, the head of KA Key Customer Department, Hou Libin, the head of Human Resources Department, Zhang Ling, the head of Talent Ecology and Supply Chain Team, and others were present to communicate with the students of Logistics School and conduct offline interviews.

First of all, the person in charge of SF Express Business Department came to the National Logistics System and Technology Experiment Teaching Demonstration Center of Beijing Wuzi University, visited the multi-layer shuttle car system, pallet type warehouse+circulation handling system, bin type warehouse system, fluent picking system, slide type sorter, lifting unit, AGV picking and other logistics systems on the first floor, as well as the mechanics laboratory, precision engineering laboratory, intelligent stacking laboratory A number of teaching laboratories, including cold chain laboratory, packaging laboratory, cloud procurement laboratory, VR/AR laboratory, smart supply chain collaborative innovation laboratory, etc. The head of SF Express Business Department fully affirmed the students' learning conditions and believed that they could cooperate in relevant fields.

Secondly, Ms. Guo Lin from External Cooperation Office of the Logistics School welcomed the students' arrival, thanked senior executives for their exchanges and interviews, and briefly introduced the concept of cooperation between the Logistics School and leading enterprises and foreign application-oriented colleges and universities and the "one body and two wings" talent training. He hoped that students would make full use of high-quality educational resources to embark on a larger stage of life.

Then, the head of SF Express Business Department communicated with 73 students who came to the interview. Among them, Zhang Ling, the head of SF Express Talent Ecology and Supply Chain Team, took SF Express as an example to introduce the current situation, challenges and opportunities of China's logistics industry, share with students the development history, business scope, development planning and other contents of SF Express Company, and communicate with students on professional knowledge, achievement motivation, etc. Hou Libin, head of SF Express Human Resources Department, introduced to the students the original idea of the "SF Express Interest Class" jointly established by SF Express and the Logistics School, that is, to cultivate logistics professionals who are eye-catching, attentive and professional. Through the company's internal training courses, visits, internships and other forms, students are pre trained to cultivate talents for the industry. The principals of SF Express Operation Department, Large Business Department, International Business Department, General Affairs Department and KA Key Account Department introduced their respective business contents to let students understand the company structure and business field division.

Later, President Jiang Xu had a discussion with the person in charge of the business department of SF Express, introducing the undergraduate major setting and the distribution of postgraduate disciplines of the Logistics School, the specific situation of the current school enterprise cooperation, and the talent training and student employment goals that the cooperation with SF Express hopes to achieve.

Finally, start the group interview. After introducing themselves one by one, the students discussed the problems raised by SF Express in groups. After the discussion and summary, the head of the business department of SF Express fully communicated with the students, and gave suggestions and tips related to career development for specific problem s in the interview.

The first "SF Express Interest Class" carefully created by both parties attracted more than 100 undergraduate and graduate students from the Logistics School to register for the class. After online resume delivery and online evaluation, a total of 73 students entered the offline interview. Through this offline interview, students learned about the current situation and trend of China's logistics industry from the perspective of enterprises, interacted and communicated with the head of SF Express Business Department, and experienced the interview process of SF Express. The head of SF Express Business Department affirmed the knowledge reserve and diligent and pragmatic style of our students' logistics related majors, and encouraged them to broaden their horizons and increase their skills to contribute to the development of China's logistics industry. Later, the two sides will carry out more in-depth cooperation in talent training, practical activities, internship and employment.
