Students from the Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University Loerrach came to the Logistics School for short-term exchange and learning

   From August 12 to 18, 2023, students from the short-term class at the Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University Loerrach, led by Professor Kern and Professor Schäfer, came to the Logistics School at the Beijing Wuzi University for a six-day short-term exchange learning activity.


As part of the cooperation project between the two universities, this logistics short-term learning activity aims to provide German students with practical experience related to the Chinese logistics industry, deepen their understanding of the Chinese market, and promote academic exchange and cooperation between the two universities.



Under the leadership of the Logistics School of Beijing Wuzi University, professors and students of the short-term class visited Sinotrans North China Co., Ltd. and Beijing SF Express Co., Ltd.,and had discussions and exchanges with enterprise representatives, then learned about the current development status and challenges of China's logistics industry.



In addition, the students also studied courses related to logistics management and supply chain management, such as "E-commerce Logistics in China" and "Logistics for the Beijing Winter Olympics". Through interactive exchanges with Chinese professors and students, German students have gained a deeper understanding of the development trends, policies and regulations, as well as business operation models of the logistics industry in China.



In addition to studying, German students also have the opportunity to experience traditional Chinese culture, visit famous cultural attractions in Beijing, and taste authentic Chinese cuisine. These diverse cultural experiences not only enhance their cross-cultural communication skills, but also generate a deeper interest and understanding of China.


The German students participating in this short-term learning activity have expressed that through communication with Chinese students and professors, they have gained a deeper understanding of the logistics industry in China, and also deeply feel the development potential and opportunities of China in the logistics field. They hope to apply their knowledge and contribute to the logistics cooperation between China and Germany.


The cooperation project between Beijing Wuzi University and Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University Loerrach will continue to deepen. In the future, more academic exchanges and cooperation projects will be carried out to provide students with more practical opportunities and an international learning environment, and cultivate more talents with international perspectives and innovative abilities.
