Representatives of teachers and students majoring in international logistics and supply chain from China and the United States participated in the China EU thematic dialogue of the global supply chain classroom alliance

  The China EU Symposium of the global supply chain classroom Alliance (hereinafter referred to as GSCC) was held from 20:00 to 22:00 Beijing time on March 16, 2021. 10 teachers and students from the Sino US international logistics and supply chain specialty of BWU and 23 teachers and students from the French Universities which major in logistics. The event was co chaired by Chung Tan, executive director of China US logistics Federation, Jiang Qinglin, senior director of American FTI Consulting Group, a listed company on the New York Stock Exchange, and member of the global supply chain classroom strategy Steering Committee.

  Under the leadership of teachers, student representatives of the Sino US class will focus on the four industries of automobile, clothing, health and transportation to carry out research on how domestic enterprises in relevant industries speed up the supply chain, restart their manufacturing and logistics activities in the post epidemic period. As a benchmarking study, French students will carry out corresponding investigation and Research on European enterprises. At the meeting, Qian Jiang, director of Yili Group's global innovation center, assistant to the president of Ximai food, President of Japan's Asian brand Free Trade Promotion Association, Lenda, director of Eide Biomedical Technology Co., Ltd., and Emily, director of jinhaijieya, served as dialogue guests to answer students' questions.

  GSCC initiative is initiated by SALC China US logistics Federation. Academic leaders from FIATA international freight forwarding Association, UMD University of Maryland, URI University of Rhode Island, ESLI French Institute of logistics, DHBW dual University in Baden wuertenberg, Germany and other global universities and industry institutions participate in the design and operation of the course. The course aims to cultivate talents with analytical and critical thinking, knowledge structure to understand global issues, global trends and globalization process, and effective cross-cultural exchanges and cooperation in a diversified global economy.
