On the afternoon of May 22, 2020, Professor Jiang Xu, President of Logistics school, Chu Dongliang, deputy director of logistics engineering teaching and Research Office, and Chen Lu, teacher of supply chain management teaching and Research Office, participated in the professional seminar on classification standards of public welfare, public and business commercial logistics facilities at the invitation of Beijing Municipal Bureau of Commerce. Yang Ping, director of Logistics Development Department of Beijing Municipal Bureau of Commerce, deputy director Zhuo Haijing and other relevant leaders attended the meeting.
At the meeting, director Yang Ping and deputy director Zhuo Haijing respectively made a comprehensive introduction on the basic situation and requirements of the classification standards for commercial logistics facilities. Subsequently, leaders of various units and industry experts and scholars at the meeting heated discussed on the definition of commercial logistics facilities, service functions of different types of commercial logistics facilities, main storage products, investment mode, operation mode, government participation.
The conference defined the research direction of the classification standard of public, public and business commercial logistics facilities, and added a lot of valuable research ideas and suggestions for this topic, which will provide suggestions for the further research of Logistics Development Department of Beijing Municipal Bureau of Commerce. It has effectively promoted the construction of China's trade logistics standardization, and demonstrated that our institute has played a strong role as an expert think tank in the government's innovative development strategy.
