Prof. Dr. Peik Bremer

Professor of Operations Management and Logistics

University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt

Peik Bremer is a professor atUniversity of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt, Germany. His research explores extending process models such as the Supply Chain Operations Reference (SCOR) Model for use in Industrial Internet of Things applications. Peik has suggested a reference model for cold chain logistics that offers a seamless approach from planning, designing to operating cold chains. Recent research covers a framework for Smart Logistics based on Digital Ecosystems. He is a regular contributor to the International Symposium on Logistics. His research has been published in the International Journal of Logistics Management and the Asian Journal of Shipping and Logistics. Peik is co-author of a textbook on Quality Management (Grundlagen Qualitätsmanagement, Springer-Vieweg, 3e, 2020).

Prof. Dr. Rembert Horstmann is full-Professor of Marketing & Sales at CBS International Business School (former Cologne Business School) in Cologne, Germany and adjunct Professor on International Marketing and Brand Management in the MBA program of FHDW University of Applied Science in Paderborn, Germany. He has been experienced Board Member in mid-sized corporations, consultancies and start-ups with more than twenty years of experience in the areas of international marketing, branding, services marketing, corporate communications, digital marketing/sales, customer management, market research, key account management, strategic sales management and corporate development on senior level with a worldwide scope. He also has B2B background with a strong industrial (steel) and services focus (logistics, consulting) and depth knowledge of global branding, rebranding initiatives and positioning of new brands (in particular after mergers). He is expert in international growth strategies, digital marketing/sales and marketing automation implementation skills.

Prof. Dr. Armin F. Schwolgin

Retired Department Head of Forwarding, Transport and Logistics

In 2019 Prof. Dr. Armin F. Schwolgin retired as Department Head of Forwarding, Transport and Logistics at Baden -Wurttemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW Loerrach). Since 2006 he has lectured at Beijing Wuzi University, Beijing. Currently, he is working there as a Visiting Professor at Beijing Wuzi University, Beijing. After an international management career (Germany, USA, Brazil) he became a logistics professor, department head and dean of the faculty of business administration (2007 – 2010) of DHBW Loerrach. His teaching and research is focusing on International Logistics, Logistics Controlling, and Supply Chain Financing, giving particular attention to rail and multimodal transport. Prof. Schwolgin has published articles about these topics in books and journals of applied science. Since 2004 is has been co-editor of the “Praxishandbuch Logistik” (Managers’ Handbook for Logistics Managers) and has authored many papers therein. Until 2019 Prof. Schwolgin was co-editor (together with Prof. Egon H. Trump and Prof. Dr. Frankl O. Bayer) of the scientific series “Loerrach Logistics Forum”.

Armin F. He has been Executive Assistant to the CEO in FIEGE Logistics Group Germany from 2020 to 2021 and Head of Strategic Development & Business Integration FIEGE Far East, FIEGE Logistics Group, Europe & Asia from 2021 till now.

Prof. Dr. Karsten Machholz

Professor of Strategic Procurement & Supply Chain Management

Dr. Machholz has gained more than 25 years of experience in the Chemical, Strategic Consulting, Pharma and Biotech sector, recently as a Member of the Management Board. He has been appointed as Professor for Supply Chain Management and Strategic Procurement at the University of Applied Sciences Würzburg Schweinfurt in 2012. Today, he serves as a Chairman of the Advisory Board, Founding Partner or Scientific Advisor for various Procurement Start-Ups.Besides this he acts as an Ambassador of the Sustainable Procurement Pledge and has been nominated as one of Top 10 Procurement Influencers 2020.

Associate Prof. Dr. Yimei Chang

Associate professor of logistics school

Beijing Wuzi University

Chang Yimei is an associate professor of Beijing Wuzi University. She got her Bachelor's degree and PhD from Beijing Jiaotong University in 2014 and 2019, respectively. Since 2014, she has been engaged in research on container transportation and rail-water intermodal transportation, especially focusing on the operation organization and operation scheduling of rail-water intermodal container terminal. She has published 13 academic papers, some of which have been published in Transportation Letters, Journal of Transportation Engineering, Journal of Transportation System Engineering and Information.

常祎妹，北京物资学院副教授。 2014年获北京交通大学学士学位，2019年获北京交通大学博士学位。 2014年以来，一直从事集装箱运输和铁水联运的研究，尤其关注铁水联运集装箱码头的运营组织和调度问题。 发表学术论文13篇，部分论文发表在《交通通讯》、《交通运输工程学报》、《交通运输系统工程与信息学报》等。
