Beijing Key Laboratory of logistics system and technology is an important logistics research institution of BWU. Together with the logistics department and logistics research center of BWU, it constitutes an important force in logistics research and teaching. Relying on the BWU, the laboratory has a good foundation in the field of logistics research, focusing on the planning and construction of logistics center, the development of logistics management information system, logistics equipment modernization, automation and other aspects.
In November 2001, the logistics laboratory was jointly rated as the Key Laboratory of Beijing by Beijing Education Commission and Beijing Science and Technology Commission. With the support of the Municipal Education Commission, in a few years, the laboratory plans to invest millions of yuan in the construction, part of which will be used for open laboratory projects, and support other social research institutions to carry out logistics research, which will effectively promote the improvement of logistics research level in China.
The overall goal of the construction of logistics system and technology laboratory is to become a logistics discipline construction and scientific research base integrating scientific research, experiment, academic exchange and personnel training; to become a platform for Beijing municipal government to formulate policies and plans in the field of logistics; to become a platform for enterprises to carry out logistics process design, engineering installation, system integration, project management, strategic consultation, etc Service Centre.
The logistics system and technology laboratory will strive to become one of the most advanced and influential laboratories in Beijing's universities before 2005, achieving the goal of complete modern equipment, forming technology and fruitful results; by 2010, the logistics system experimental platform will gradually develop into a comprehensive logistics system development and design platform, and become a first-class national logistics research Center, enterprise logistics system development and design center, senior logistics personnel training center.

Logistics Technology Engineering Research Center

In January 2010, the Beijing Municipal Education Commission approved the establishment of logistics technology engineering research center of BWU, integrated the resources of logistics technology, logistics management, logistics engineering, computer science and technology, Internet of things technology and other disciplines and professional resources of our university, integrated the resources outside the school, and formed an interdisciplinary research team focusing on logistics technology engineering research.
The engineering center carries out follow-up engineering research and system integration of important applied scientific and technological achievements with market value; develops and researches common technologies, key technologies and service platforms with industrialization prospects, so as to accelerate the industrialization pace of scientific and technological achievements; and promote the transformation of technological achievements into industrialization. There are 30 full-time and part-time researchers in Logistics Technology Engineering Center, including 10 professors, 15 associate professors, 20 doctors, 1 government special expert and more than 30 graduate students.
Beijing Key Laboratory of Intelligent Logistics System

The Intelligent Logistics System Laboratory of BWU was established in 2006. In 2013, it was recognized as "Beijing Key Laboratory of intelligent logistics system" by Beijing Science and Technology Commission. It has "modern logistics information and control technology research base" and "Internet of things technology and intelligent logistics system Beijing Innovation team" by Beijing Education Commission. Relying on the construction of BWU, after nearly three years of talent introduction and training, as well as the construction of Beijing talent education program and scientific research and innovation team plan, a research team of IOT information processing and intelligent logistics system with reasonable structure, stable personnel and strong innovation ability has been formed. There are 27 people in the laboratory, including 26 researchers and 1 manager.
Internet of things information processing and intelligent logistics system laboratory has a centralized and dedicated laboratory area of 1500 square meters during the Eleventh Five Year Plan period. We have invested 20 million yuan to purchase various equipment needed for the research of Internet of things technology and intelligent logistics system, and have built a relatively complete research platform for information processing and intelligent logistics system of the Internet of things.
