   On September 16, 2023, in order to discuss logistics and supply chain related issues during the post pandemic period and draw on the experience of applied scientific research and talent cultivation at the German University of Applied Sciences, the School of Logistics invited six guests from the Baden Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University Loerrach, University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt, Münster School of Business, Sinotrans Logistics Co., Ltd., and the FIEGE Logistik Stiftung & Co. KG to participate in the 2023 Sino German Logistics Forum, Communicate around logistics, supply chain.


At the beginning of the meeting, the host, Ms. Guo Lin, reviewed the cooperation with German schools over the past decade through video: exchange students, academic visits, lectures, logistics forums, etc.


Professor Peik Bremer, Professor of Operations Management and Logistics of University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt, proposed a reference model for cold chain logistics, providing a seamless connection method from planning, design to cold chain operation. He Introduced and analyzed the German education system and logistics education by answering how to 'Finding well educated staff at all levels'.


Professor Carsten Feldmann from Münster School of Business, his teaching and research areas include business management, digital transformation, supply chain management, production, and logistics. At this forum, he shared his insights on "collaborative research under research and development institutions".


Professor Karsten Machholz from the Strategic Procurement & Supply Chain Management at the University of Applied Sciences Wuerzburg- Schweinfurt, explores the integration of the popular vocabulary "decarbonization" and "blockchain technology" with the topic of "decarbonization in the supply chain using blockchain technology for carbon dioxide tracking and tracing".


Mr. Christoph Mangelmans, Managing Director Consumer Products & Digital Services of FIEGE Logistik Stiftung & Co. KG. The topic of his speech is "Why Logistics Companies Need to Collaborate with Universities - A Review of 20 Years of Cooperation Experience". He reviewed with us the experience of school enterprise cooperation in the past 20 years and discussed the inevitability and necessity of school enterprise cooperation in the logistics industry.


Tao Zui, a senior student majoring in International Logistics and Supply Chain Management at Beijing Wuzi University , actively participated in research and practice related to logistics and supply chain management. Under the guidance of Professor Porz, she completed the "Research Report on China's Green Chemicals Market". The topic she shared was' Experience of collaborating with Professor Porz on a market research report '.


This forum discussed logistics and supply chain related issues during the post pandemic period, providing new perspectives and ideas for applied research and talent cultivation. College students actively engage in communication and interaction with guest speakers, demonstrating good spiritual outlook, professional abilities, and English proficiency.
