On the afternoon of November 20, 2023, Mr. Jean Michel Viola, Director of the Certification Department of GIP CEI Education Group in France, visited our school and had a meeting with the International Cooperation and Exchange Office and relevant work leaders of the School of Logistics in Room 104.
Firstly, Dean Jiang Xu of the School of Logistics introduced the professional characteristics and international exchanges of the School. Our school, as the only public university in China and one of the few international universities, has the characteristics of logistics and circulation. For decades, the school has trained a large number of senior professional talents in the field of logistics for the country, especially in the logistics industry, where graduates enjoy a high social reputation. The Logistics College relies on a comprehensive, comprehensive, and full chain logistics education system in logistics management, logistics engineering, procurement management, supply chain management, and quality management majors, cultivating a large number of outstanding professional talents for the logistics industry. At the same time, the school attaches great importance to international cooperation and exchange, and has carried out Sino foreign cooperative education projects with the University of New Haven in the United States. It has held several international exchange activities such as the China US, China Germany, and China Japan forums. We hope to take advantage of the visit of GIP CEI Education Group to cooperate with French universities in terms of cooperative education, scientific research, international conferences, and international competitions.
Mr. Jean Michel Viola, Director of the Certification Department of GIP CEI Education Group in France, expressed his gratitude to our school for its warm reception. He introduced the educational advantages and characteristics of GIP CEI, and its five projects have been included in the French national "2030 Priority Plan". GIP CEI has ESLI Academy, focusing on procurement, logistics, and supply chain fields. Its logistics and industrial procurement (multi-directional: e-commerce, intelligent logistics, intelligent mobility, public procurement, green supply chain, etc.) ranks 12th in Eduniversal's France and won the Best Project Award in 2023. GIP CEI is very willing to work together with the School of Logistics at Beijing University of Materials and Materials to carry out various levels of cooperation in the field of logistics and deepen cooperation between China and France in various fields such as logistics innovation, education and training, and enterprise connectivity.
Subsequently, Director Han Xing of the International Cooperation and Exchange Department stated that GIP CEI is well matched with the School of Logistics in terms of professional fields and development characteristics, and can cooperate in areas such as cooperative education, professional construction, and scientific research. Mr. Viola stated that all GIP CEI projects are open to cooperation and look forward to cooperation based on the characteristics of both parties.
