On December 27, 2024, Zhongdu Logistics and Beijing Wuzi University held the signing ceremony for university-enterprise cooperation and the opening ceremony of the “Zhongdu Logistics – Automotive Logistics Class.” A delegation of 16 from the Logistics School of Beijing Wuzi University, led by Associate Dean Chu Dongliang, attended the event. Zhang Ming, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Secretary of the Commission for Discipline Inspection of Zhongdu Logistics, and Zhang Yanfang, Deputy General Manager, participated in the meeting and signed the agreement.

Zhongdu Logistics is committed to becoming a smart supply chain solution provider and an integrated supply chain service provider rooted in the automotive industry. We firmly believe that the sustainable development and innovation of an enterprise cannot be achieved without talent support. Beijing Wuzi University, as a leading institution in logistics and supply chain management education, shares a deep-rooted relationship with Zhongdu Logistics. As early as 2012, the two parties jointly launched the first Zhongdu Logistics Management Class.” Many students from that inaugural class successfully joined Zhongdu Logistics after graduation, and some have grown into director-level middle and senior managers, working in key positions within core departments and playing an indispensable role in the company’s development. This new collaboration to launch the "Automotive Logistics Class" marks a significant milestone in the development of Zhongdu Logistics and a new starting point for deep cooperation in talent cultivation and technological innovation between both parties.

Through the establishment of the “Automotive Logistics Class,” the two sides aim to integrate theoretical knowledge with practical training, providing students with a platform that allows for both systematic learning of logistics theory and hands-on experience in the enterprise. This cooperation will help cultivate more high-quality, high-skilled talents who possess both solid theoretical foundations and rich practical experience, injecting new vitality into the development of the automotive logistics industry.

Following the ceremony, the first class of the “Zhongdu Logistics – Automotive Logistics Class” was delivered. Students participated in sessions introducing the intelligent warehousing system for complete vehicles and visited the JIS (Just-In-Sequence) warehouse. The class titled “The Delivery Journey of a Car” helped logistics management majors comprehensively understand the concept of “automotive logistics” by combining logistics theory with real-world systems and scenarios, and covering key logistics processes such as parts logistics, vehicle logistics, and after-sales logistics.

Moving forward, Zhongdu Logistics and the Logistics School will continue to engage in joint efforts in student training, co-teaching, and collaborative talent cultivation, writing a new chapter in university-enterprise cooperation.
