In order to effectively enhance students' understanding of logistics on-site operation, further broaden their horizons and combine professional knowledge with practice, Logistics School organized the third Nippon class students to go to Guangzhou、Dongguan under the leadership of Miss Kawashima of East Asia management headquarters of Nippon international logistics (China) Co., Ltd. and teacher Guo Lin of the college's foreign exchange and cooperation office from December 15 to 18, 2020.
At the first stop during the activity, the students first visited the Guangzhou Branch of Nippon international logistics (China) Co., Ltd. and Guangzhou Container Terminal Co., Ltd. located in Huangpu District, Guangzhou. They had a preliminary understanding of the Guangzhou Branch of Ritong international logistics (China) Co., Ltd. and its business. At Huangpu Xingang, the students visited the port for the first time, Have a preliminary understanding of maritime logistics.
On December 16, the students came to Zhishan warehouse and Nansha warehouse of Nippon automobile logistics (China) Co., Ltd. Morita, general manager of Nippon automobile logistics (China) Co., Ltd., warmly welcomed the teachers and students of Materials College and delivered a speech. Through this opportunity, the students had a close contact with the business of automobile logistics and were deeply impressed by the standardized management of Nippon. There are visual Kanban in both the office area and the warehouse, and standardized packaging methods are designed according to different commodity types.
On the third day of the seminar, the students visited Dongguan warehouse and Futian Free Trade Zone to deepen their understanding of the bonded warehouse. The students raised their own problems and discussed the storage facilities and warehouse operation process.
On the last day, the students visited Yantian international container terminal, the world's largest logistics port. Under the leadership of Xie Zongsen, Ministry of Commerce of Yantian international container terminal, they learned about the whole terminal and had a deeper understanding of maritime logistics.
The four-day training activities not only strengthened the students' understanding of logistics theory, personally appreciated the complexity of logistics on-site operation process, but also strengthened the students' understanding of Nippon international logistics (China) Co., Ltd., providing you with an unforgettable experience. During the whole visit and study, the students actively asked questions, actively discussed and benefited a lot.
